Immediate need to increase donor base and funds raised. Had used personalized letter; however, request message was "global" despite recipient's interests. Letter only mailed to past donors in existing database.
Solution
Changed piece design to self-mailer, resulting in not only
monetary savings to client but also creating much more visual impact to
recipient. Performed market research to create donor prospects not
previously targeted. Created specific message for recipients and referred
to client's website for additional option in responding to request.
Resulted in dramatic increase in responses with 128% growth in donations.
